Came to my plantation in the month of November,
A small bay mare, I very well remember.
She is thirteen hands high and four years old,
With a star in her forehead, and her eyes they are wall's.
Her main it is roach'd, her hind feet they are white;
No brand is perceivable, if I can see right.
Her tail it is bobb'd, so I shall conclude
She's well describ'd, if it can be understood.
She's posted, and apprais'd to only two pound;
The owner may have her of [signed] William Brown.
